Some sort of Pan Am airline tourist tie-in for the popular Puerto Rico destination, but great latin music nonetheless. Mambo and Bomba music from Tito Puente and his orchestra. Tito Puente's early recordings are best known for the dance-oriented mambos, bombas and chachachas etc, while the later material is more Latin jazz. Lovely copy of a fantastic album. Jacket has small clean cut out.

Alberto Socarras is credited as the first Cuban flute player in jazz and one of the first to start an orchestra performing latin music in New York city. His flute playing and Arrangements are often praised highly by more modern latin musicians. 12 tracks including: Tea For Two Cha Cha, Sixty Second Mambo, A- You're Adorable, Nervous Gavotte Mambo, Hal's Cha Cha Cha, Mambo Impromptu, Algun Dia and others.
