Mainly merengue from Hugo Perez Y Sus Quisqueyanos Modernos, produced by Bobby Marin. Jacket open but still in shrink, has drill hole, vinyl looks virtually unplayed. 12 tracks.

Format: Vinyl Record LP, Cavalier Records. Cavalier Records, USA, stereo release, no date, but 1960s. Some sort of Pan Am airline tourist tie-in for the popular Puerto Rico destination, but great latin music nonetheless. Mambo and Bomba music from Tito Puente and his orchestra. Tito Puente's early recordings are best known for the dance-oriented mambos, bombas and chachachas etc, while the later material is more Latin jazz. His musical career lasted over 50 years. 12 tracks including: El Paso, Babarabatiri, Mi Bomba Sono, A Noro Morales, Romance Del Campesino, Cancion De La Serrania, Malanga Con Yuca, Pa'Borinquen, Ay Que Bueno, Felisa. Features Armando Pereza on bongos and congas as well as Ray Maldonado on trumpet. 10 tracks including: Tell It, The Letter, Listen Here, Sometimes Bread, Geechee Girl, Hippo Walk, Featherbed Lane, Saoco, Afro Walk, Congo Blue. Lovely copy of a fantastic album. Jacket has small clean cut out.

Lovely copy of a great album.
